These Terms of Use govern your use of Lensora Looks, including the photo editor, AI editing tools, Lensora Looks social features, creator profiles, reusable Looks, reporting and blocking tools, and related web or mobile services.
The short version
- You keep ownership of the photos and content you create.
- You must have the right to upload, edit and publish the content you use with Lensora.
- Public content is moderated before it becomes publicly available.
- Published reusable Looks may be made available for other users to apply through Lensora.
- You can report content, block users and delete your account from inside the app.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Lensora Looks, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Lensora Looks Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You may use Lensora Looks only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms and use the service under the laws that apply to you. If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for your use of a service like Lensora Looks, you must have that consent.
3. Your account
Some features require a Lensora account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs through it.
You must provide accurate information when required for account creation and must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity in a way that violates another person's rights.
4. License to use Lensora Looks
Lensora Looks grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for its intended photo editing, creative and social functions, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, sell, sublicense, interfere with, exploit or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Lensora software, systems or non-public functionality except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Your photos and content
You retain ownership of photos, images, profile content, captions, edits and other original material that you upload or create.
You are responsible for making sure that you have the rights and permissions necessary to import, edit, upload, publish or otherwise use content through Lensora Looks.
When you submit content to Lensora for hosting or publication, you give Lensora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process and display that content only as needed to operate the service and provide the functionality you requested.
If you remove content or delete your account, the license above ends for content that is no longer needed to operate the service, subject to any limited retention required by law, security or dispute resolution.
6. Reusable Looks
Lensora Looks may allow creators to publish editing configurations or Looks that other users can discover and apply to their own photos.
If you intentionally publish a Look as reusable, you authorize Lensora Looks to make that Look available through the service so that other users can apply it using the product's supported features.
Publishing a reusable Look does not transfer ownership of your original photos to other users.
7. Public creator features
Lensora Looks includes public features such as a feed, Explore, creator profiles, follows, favorites, saves, reposts and Look usage.
Information that you choose to publish publicly can be viewed by other users according to the design of the feature. Lensora Looks does not currently provide public comments or direct messaging.
8. Content moderation
Content submitted for publication is not made publicly available immediately. Lensora Looks uses automated moderation, including Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch, and may use manual review when automated systems cannot confidently approve content.
Lensora may reject, restrict or remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, safety rules or the intended use of the service.
Automated moderation is not perfect. A moderation decision may be reviewed manually where supported, and Lensora may take additional action when content is reported after publication.
9. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use Lensora Looks to:
- upload or publish content that you do not have the right to use;
- publish illegal, exploitative, abusive or clearly harmful material;
- publish sexually exploitative content or any sexual content involving minors;
- threaten, harass, impersonate or target other users unlawfully;
- attempt to evade moderation, reporting, blocking or account restrictions;
- use automated systems to scrape, overload or manipulate the service without authorization;
- interfere with security, authentication, ranking, creator metrics or other service systems;
- use Lensora Looks to distribute malware, malicious code or fraudulent content.
Reports may be reviewed by Lensora. Depending on the issue, Lensora may remove content, limit visibility, restrict features or suspend an account.
10. Blocking and reporting
Lensora Looks provides supported controls for reporting content or users and for blocking users. These tools are intended to help users control their experience and help Lensora respond to violations.
Abuse of reporting systems, including intentionally false or coordinated reports designed to harass other users, may itself violate these Terms.
11. AI features
Certain editing tools use AI processing through external service providers such as Replicate. When you choose an AI feature, the content required for that feature may be transmitted to the provider so the requested edit can be processed.
AI results can vary. Lensora does not guarantee that an AI-generated or AI-assisted result will be accurate, suitable for a particular purpose or free from unexpected artifacts.
You remain responsible for making sure you have the right to process the photos or other content you submit to AI features.
12. Lensora intellectual property
Lensora Looks, including its software, interface, branding, logos, original graphics, product design and non-user-created content, is owned by or licensed to Lensora and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Lensora software or branding to you.
13. Third-party services
Lensora Looks uses third-party infrastructure and processing services, including Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Cloud Vision, Replicate and Resend. Your use of certain features may therefore involve processing by those providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
Lensora is not responsible for independent third-party products or services that you choose to access outside Lensora.
14. Service changes and availability
Lensora Looks is an evolving product. Features may be added, changed, limited or removed as the service develops.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available without interruption or that every device will support every feature.
15. Account suspension and termination
Lensora may limit, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, legal rights or platform security, including when these Terms are seriously or repeatedly violated.
You may stop using Lensora Looks at any time. The app includes a Delete Account option designed to delete your account and associated account data from the service.
16. No guarantee of creator performance
Lensora Looks may display creator rankings, trends, engagement, uses, saves, reposts or other performance signals. These features may change as the service evolves and do not guarantee visibility, audience growth, ranking position or any particular level of engagement.
17. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lensora Looks is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output or that every feature will meet every user's specific expectations.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lensora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service where such liability may lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
19. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are interpreted under the laws that apply to the entity operating Lensora Looks and to your use of the service. Any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you remain unaffected.
Where possible, we encourage users to contact Lensora first so that concerns can be reviewed directly before formal proceedings are pursued.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Lensora Looks develops. If changes are material, the updated version will be made available through the service or website with a revised effective date.
