Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Lensora Looks is a mobile photo editing and creator platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information Lensora Looks processes, why it is processed, when photos or account information may be sent to service providers, how public creator features work, and the choices available to you.

Privacy at a glance

  • Lensora Looks does not sell your personal data.
  • Photo library access is used so you can choose photos to import or edit.
  • Photos used with AI features may be sent to the AI provider needed to perform that edit.
  • Content submitted to Lensora Looks social features is reviewed before it becomes publicly available.
  • You can report content, block users and delete your account from inside the app.

1. Information we process

Account information

If you create an account, Lensora Looks may process information associated with your account, such as your email address, authentication identifier, profile information, username, profile image and other information you choose to add to your profile.

Photos and creative content

Lensora Looks can access photos that you choose to import or edit after you grant the relevant device permission. Your photo library is not treated as a public Lensora library. A photo becomes part of the Lensora service only when you choose to use a feature that requires the photo to be processed, stored, published or shared.

Content you choose to publish through Lensora Looks may include photos, edits, Looks, captions, profile content and other creative material associated with your account.

Social activity

When you use Lensora Looks social features, we may process information about actions such as follows, favorites, saves, reposts, Look uses, reports and blocks. These actions are used to provide the social experience and keep account and content state synchronized.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Lensora Looks may process a push notification token and related notification settings so that notifications can be delivered to your device. You can disable notification permission through your device settings.

Technical and service information

The infrastructure used to operate Lensora Looks may generate technical records such as authentication IDs, timestamps, request information and security or service logs that are necessary to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service.

2. How photos are used

Lensora Looks is designed around user-selected photo editing. We use your photos only as needed to provide the feature you choose, such as importing a photo, applying an edit, using an AI feature, creating a Look, publishing content or storing content that you choose to keep in the service.

Photos that remain only on your device are not made public by Lensora Looks. Content intended for Lensora Looks social features is handled separately and is not made publicly available until it passes the moderation process described below.

3. AI editing

Some Lensora Looks editing features use external AI processing. When you choose one of those features, the photo or image data required for that edit, together with the settings needed to perform it, may be sent to Replicate or another specifically disclosed AI processing service used by Lensora.

AI processing is initiated by the user. Lensora Looks does not send every photo in your library to an AI provider. Only content needed for a feature you choose is processed for that purpose.

4. Lensora Looks social features and moderation

Lensora Looks includes public creator and discovery features. Content submitted for publication is not made publicly available immediately. It first goes through a moderation process.

Lensora currently uses Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch as part of automated moderation. The moderation system may evaluate categories such as adult content, violence, racy content, medical content and spoof or manipulated-content signals.

Content that clearly violates publication rules may be rejected. Content that cannot be confidently approved may be sent to manual review before publication. Until moderation is complete, the content is not publicly available through the Lensora Looks social experience.

Lensora Looks also provides reporting and blocking tools. Users can report content or accounts and can block other users from supported menus inside the app.

5. How we use information

Information may be used to:

  • create, authenticate and maintain your Lensora account;
  • provide photo editing, AI editing and creative tools;
  • store and display content you choose to publish;
  • operate the Lensora Looks feed, Explore, creator profiles and social interactions;
  • process reports, blocks and content moderation;
  • send notifications that you have enabled;
  • send account, waitlist or service emails when appropriate;
  • protect the service against abuse, fraud and security threats;
  • maintain, troubleshoot and improve the reliability of the service.

6. Service providers

Lensora Looks relies on third-party infrastructure to provide parts of the service. These providers process information only for the functions for which they are used.

Firebase and Google Cloud

Used for account authentication, database storage, file storage, cloud functions, notifications and related backend services.

Google Cloud Vision

Used as part of the automated content moderation process for material submitted to public social features.

Replicate

Used to process photos for supported AI editing features that you choose to use.

Resend

Used to send supported Lensora emails, including account-related, launch or waitlist communications.

7. Public information

Information that you intentionally publish through public Lensora Looks features can be visible to other users. Depending on the feature, this may include your username, profile information, profile image, published photos, Looks, captions, follower or following relationships, and engagement associated with public content.

Lensora Looks does not currently provide public comments or direct messaging as part of the social experience.

8. Permissions

Photo library

Lensora Looks requests photo or gallery access so that you can choose media to import, edit or use with supported creative features. You can manage this permission through your device settings.

Notifications

Notification permission is optional. If you disable notifications, core editing functionality remains available, although you may not receive supported push notifications.

9. Data sharing and sale

Lensora Looks does not sell your personal data.

Information may be shared with service providers only when necessary to provide the relevant feature, operate the service, protect users or comply with legal obligations.

10. Account deletion

Lensora Looks includes an in-app Delete Account option. When you use this option, Lensora is designed to delete your account and the account data associated with it from the service.

If specific information must be preserved to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a security issue or address a dispute, only the information necessary for that purpose may be retained for the period required by the applicable obligation.

11. Your choices

You can control your use of Lensora Looks in several ways:

  • choose which photos you import or submit for processing;
  • change gallery and notification permissions in your device settings;
  • decide what content you publish publicly;
  • unfollow or block users where supported;
  • report content or accounts;
  • unsubscribe from optional email communications;
  • delete your account from inside the app.

12. Security

Lensora Looks uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the service. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but Lensora is designed to limit access to information and to use established infrastructure providers for authentication, storage and processing.

13. International processing

The service providers used by Lensora Looks may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, information is handled using protections required by applicable privacy law.

14. Younger users

You may use Lensora Looks only if you are legally permitted to use the service under the laws that apply to you. Lensora Looks is not intended to be used in a way that bypasses parental consent or other age-related requirements imposed by applicable law.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Lensora Looks develops, including when new features, providers or data practices are introduced. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
